The Tall Ship is open again .
The Team at The Tall Ship have worked very hard to make the Ship safe for the visiting public. The Cafe, shop and much else besides has been re-organised. There is a one-way circuit to help with Social Distancing. Sadly at this time we do not feel it is safe to open certain areas such as: the poop cabins and poop deck, the engine space, the for'ard deckhouse and the cargo hold.
The Cafe is open. A new menu will be available
Please note, The Tall Ship will be closed 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 30th and 31st December. The Tall Ship will also be closed 1st and 2nd January. We will be open as usual 28th and 29th December, and will resume our normal weekly opening hours 3rd January onward.
The Tall Ship offers maritime themed events and activities, with specially devised talks and tours, school visits and costumed volunteer days. Explore every nook and cranny of the Glenlee, including the refurbished Captain’s cabin, with our brand new audio guide facility, a fun way to learn the history of the ship. Visit the mini cinema and under 5’s play area in the cargo hold, take part in our mouse hunt and put your questions to our working ship’s crew. We also have a souvenir gift shop and coffee shop on board.
Check the What’s On section of this site to catch up on all the latest news and events
