If using a Sat Nav for directions, we recommend you enter “The Tall Ship Glenlee” rather than the postcode as you may end up on the opposite side of the river!
We share a large car park with the Riverside Museum which is pay to use. There are also EV Rapid charging stations available.
Opening Hours
We are open 10 am to 5 pm.
On Tuesdays, we open at 11 am.
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

Transport Links
The Tall Ship Glenlee is just half a mile from Govan Underground Station, or just under a mile from Partick Train, bus and Underground.
Regular train services run between Partick and Glasgow Central / Glasgow Queen Street stations. To plan your journey, visit www.scotrail.co.uk

You can reach the Tall Ship Glenlee by hopping off the City Sightseeing Glasgow open-top tour at Stop 5 – Riverside Museum. It’s a short walk from there to the ship. Alternatively, check out First Bus services to Govan Station, which is just a short walk and footbridge away. For tour routes and tickets, visit citysightseeingglasgow.co.uk.

West Bound From the M8 At junction 19, take the A814 exit to Clydebank/S.E.C.C, turning right onto Stobcross Street (A814). Use the left lane to take the exit towards B808/Partick/Glasgow Harbour.
East Bound Take exit 25 from the M8 signed for the Clyde Tunnel. On leaving the tunnel take the second left (A814) signed for City Centre/Partick. Exit onto Hayburn St/B808 towards Partick/Glasgow Harbour. Stay in the right lane through the traffic lights at the end of the exit ramp, and stay in the right lane turning onto the bridge at the next traffic lights. Take the left lane over the bridge and turn left onto Castlebank Street. Turn right at the next traffic lights into the Riverside Campus.
There is a Glasgow City Public Bicycle Hire Station, operated by Nextbike by TIER located at the Riverside Museum where you can rent, park, or return OVO bikes.

The Govan Ferry is not currently running services between Govan and Kelvin Harbour.

FACILITIES
As well as the opportunity to set foot on a square-rigged steel cargo ship and view the exhibitions, visitors will find the following on board:
- Our cafe serves hot and cold drinks and refreshments.
- Hot food service finishes 60 minutes before closing time.
- Our shop sells a range of nautical gifts and Glenlee souvenirs.
- Toilets are available including disabled and baby changing facilities.
