On 15 March, Glenlee was delighted to play host to Nathan Evans. Nathan leapt to fame with his TicTok Electro-Shanty the 'Wellerman'. Now having landed a recording contract, Glenlee was able to provide an appropriate backdrop to a trailer for BBC Scotland's Tune programme to be aired in April. Sadly on this occasion no shanties (electro- or otherwise).
Nathan has a unique voice and we hope we might get him back to sing some more shanties on board.
The filming and promotional activity was undertaken by the award winning Glasgow-based production company Forest of Black.
