The Tall Ship will be closed on Wednesday 29th November. We apologise for any inconvenience.
We are currently undergoing exciting maintenance projects that will safeguard the future of Glenlee and improve the visitor experience. This means that parts of the ship will look slightly different and some areas may not be accessible.
We are very grateful to the Heritage Lottery Memorial Fund, Museums Galleries Scotland and the Friends of Glasgow Museums for their ongoing support.
We are open 10 am to 5 pm. On Tuesdays, we open at 11 am.
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
Opening hours and days may change if there are events or functions. Information on this will be in the What's On section, and on the day on this page.
Glenlee is free to visit and there is no requirement to book to visit, however for groups of more than eight adults, we strongly recommend booking. See the Group booking page for more information.
We are unable to facilitate access to schools or groups of young people, under the age of 18, who have not booked ahead. Please note that we do not accept booking requests on the day of the intended visit.
This includes school groups, nurseries, after-school groups or holiday groups, please visit the learning programme page. Booking is essential for these groups.

Over the past thirty years, we have welcomed a range of visitors to the ship whose fathers, granddads and even great-grandparents have a connection with the ship.
If you have a family connection to Glenlee, we would love to hear from you! Please email our Learning and Museum Manager – lauren.henning@thetallship.com
