Day Seven

"0430 The Bishop Rock Lighthouse sighted 4 point on the starboard bow. We have now crossed The Bay and arrived close to the Cornish Coast. This Light is 49 meters high, built 1858, and sits on a skerry, lying in the westernmost part of the Isles of Scilly, an archipelago 45 km (28 mi) off the south-western tip of Britain.

We have a quiet day and all is well. The sky is overcast but the visibility is clear. 

1200 Noon. Position 50° 44' N; 06 19'N

Steadily progressing northwards into the Irish Sea

2359 All checked and in order. All well. Wind SW force 2."
